warehousing
A warehouse is a commercial building for storage of goods. It is very often that customers do not have the capacity or the facility to store their cargo, and have a great requirement for secure storage and distribution facilities. Stored goods can include any raw materials, packing materials, spare parts, components, or finished goods associated with agriculture, manufacturing and production. Location of a storage facility is key to ensure accurate costs, versus quick reliable distribution networks covering chosen regions. Every type of commodity has a different requirement for handling, packing and warehousing. We look at all variables and apply the correct warehouse to the correct commodity to suit the route of transport.
importers / exporters
You can import or export anything from raw materials to finished electronics as long as it can be containerised, we can ship it in the same condition in which it was packed.
Modern container shipping celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2006. Almost from the first voyage, use of this method of transport for goods grew steadily and in just five decades, container ships would carry about 60% of the value of goods shipped.
The system of “intermodalism”, is one in which the same container and cargo, can be transported with minimum interruption via different transport modes during its journey. Containers are moved seamlessly between ships, trucks and trains. This simplified the whole logistics process, which eventually led to a revolution in cargo transportation and international trade over the next 50 years.
